Ceasefire Violation : May 10, 2025
Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire agreement with in 4 four on saturday by once again initiated unprovoked firing along LoC in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The neighbourhood was targeted and two locals injured and several homes brought to ruin. The Indian Army retaliated appropriately, decimating the Pakistani positions which have fired.
These aren't spontaneous gestures they're scripted and written as part of a masterfully written play which is designed to distract, provoke, and inflame. And the price is being paid not just by India but by the Pakistani nation itself.
Fooling Their Own Nation
Of course, the most perilous part of Pakistan's policy is the way its leadership particularly the army and intelligence establishment still lies to its own citizens. Official media always report violations of ceasefire as "heroic resistance" against India, turning victories into false reports and concealing the truth of losses.
The people of Pakistan are made to believe that its military operation is righteous and defensive but in reality offensive, unprovoked, and destructive. Rather than spending money on development, education, and healthcare, the government of Pakistan spends enormous amounts on its military complex and proxy war fosters hatred rather than ending it.
A Safe Haven for Terrorist's
The world is well aware of the past record of Pakistan in offering sanctuaries to terror groups. Denial aside, harsh realities consistently have borne testimony to the fact that groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and certain Al-Qaeda and many more elements are purportedly operating on the borders of Pakistan trained, equipped, and sheltered by elements of the state.
These forces are not only being used to carry out operations in other countries but also instruments to create internal terror and control. Pakistan has been able to successfully convert parts of its own territory into terror launching pads and play the victim of terrorism card. This two pronged game is a moral and strategic suicide.
The world is hardly beyond memory of Osama bin Laden having escaped to Abbottabad, under the noses of the Pakistani military. And it is hardly beyond memory of the constant torrent of intelligence leads which equate Pakistani soil with hits anywhere in the world.
A Warning Unheeded
India has exercised restraint and maturity in dealing with these provocations. But there is a limit to patience. Pakistan's expectation that it can go on indulging in aggression without a horrific reckoning is an illusory one. One wrong calculation further down the line might initiate a war that gets beyond their control and this time, the world might not be so patient.
Conclusion
Pakistan's leadership continues to deceive its people, funding terrorism, and invites a more powerful neighbor all in the name of religion and nationalism. But this aggressive policy of deception is taking them down a very evil direction. If they do not change their direction, the ramifications can be catastrophic.
These stupid tricks that Pakistan are playing will be their downfall someday not on the field itself, but within, by demons they invited.
